2) Use this feedback, comments from peers and your own reflection on your presentation to self-assess and write your own detailed WWW and EBI for your coursework concept and presentation as a whole.
WWW:
  • Good presentation
  • Amazing representation and subverting stereotypes

  • Good narrative/ concept
EBI:
  • Majority said no EBI
  • More media terminology
  • Give more detailed explanation on camera work
3) Write a paragraph discussing how your presentation will lead into your actual coursework production. Do you need to update your statement of intent? Does your concept offer enough clarity? Is it appropriate for the audience specified in the brief? Is it achievable to film with the resources you have available? Can you add media terminology or theory to your statement of intent now you have reflected on your presentation and seen others?

My presentation has helped me visual how i am going to film my concept. In my ignite presentation  it helped me organise the setting, characters and each major scene. As i start filming my project I may have to update my statement of intent as I might apply more theorist ideologies and mention how my main character is going to south Asian and represent most of London community as it targeted towards them. I think it is achievable to film with the resources and equipment I have as i will be filming on DSLR camera trying to include all the shots that were mentioned in my ignite presentation.  I have to ensure and make corrections from the feedback i have received by adding more media terminology. EBI that i could elaborate on my statement of intent is in depth analysis and detail on camera work.

REMINDER: You also need to ensure that ALL your research and planning from over the summer - including your current statement of intent - is posted to your Media 2 coursework blog.

The shows first opening scene sets the scene for the series by showing montages  of London. However they deliberately show the rugged and unclean part of to link to the crime genre and the narrative of drugs, illegal actives and youth. The actors dialogs are mostly slang which also adds to the crime drama genre. TV crime drama  extract  2:   Mise-en-scene P eaky Blinders (BBC) What do you notice about the use of mise-en-scene to create meanings for the audience? Think CLAMPS. The costumes communicates a lot in Peaky Blinders as it creates the feeling that the series is set in the 1920s which adds more meaning to the narrative . The lighting used is mostly lowkey and back lighting creating an uneasy feeling and mystery which is an important accept to the series g
